WHAT HAPPENED?

THE BIGGER PICTURE
After missing the first portion of the campaign due to injury, Sargent is now back, and is on fire. With his current form, he's the hottest-scoring striker in Europe for the USMNT and is now being touted to play a big role in both the Concacaf Nations League semifinal this March and this summer's Copa America. With the USMNT striker pool so deep, it will be a contentious battle for the starting spot, but with Sargent's form – there is no saying no, at this point in time.
